The ingredients needed to make Rava onion dosa:
Get 2 cups suji/rava
Make ready 1 cup rice flour
Take 1/4 cup maida
Make ready 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
Prepare as per taste salt
Prepare 1 onion finely chopped,
Get 1 arrot grated,
Prepare 1 green chilli chopped
Take 1 tbsp fresh coconut
Take as required chopped curry leaves,
Get as required chopped coriander,
Take 1tsp ginger grated
Instructions to make Rava onion dosa:
Take a large mixing bowl, add in rice flour, suji, and maida, cumin seeds, &salt give it a mix, add water to make thin batter, batter should be watery(like neer dosa batter)…let it rest for 2 hours…if you could leave it for over night even better.. - note;remember suji absorbs more water, you can add water again after 2hrs if you feel batter is thick
After 2hours add remaining ingredients to the batter, mix well,adjust the consistency, you can add little extra water if needed..now heat up dosa pan,smear a bit of oil,with the ladle pour the batter from the edges to centre, swirl the pan once, sprinkle some oil on top, cook until base becomes crisp, carefully remove it from the pan… Enjoy with chutney
