  3. Take 1 cup raw rice

  5. Prepare 1/2tsp methi seeds
  6. Take 4 tomatoes, small lemon-sized tamarind
  7. Make ready 1 tbsp jaggery powder
  8. Prepare 8-10 red chillies,
  9. Prepare 1 inch ginger
  10. Prepare 1 tsp jeera
  11. Get as required Coriander leaves, curry leaves
  12. Make ready as per taste Salt
  13. Take as requirec , oil
Instructions to make Tomato Dosa:
  1. Soak rice, dal and methi together for 4 hours. If you're preparing dosa for breakfast, soak it overnight. Grind all the soaked ingredients with less water.
  2. Grind tomatoes, ginger, red chillies, jeera, salt, jaggery powder and salt in a mixer.
  3. Then, grind the rice batter and tomato mixture to get a smooth batter. Add curry leaves and finely chopped coriander leaves. In a small pan add tsp of oil, add mustard after it splutters add it to the dosa batter.
  4. This batter does not require fermentation. You can immediately pour dosas. Batter should be of running consistency to get crispy dosas.
  5. Heat a dosa tawa. Pour a ladle full of batter over hot tawa. Spread a tsp of oil uniformly, lower the flame and cover it with a lid. Cook until dosa turns nice crispy.
  6. Serve the dosa with coconut chutney.
