Get 3 Cup Water

Get FOR ONION TOMATO CHUTNEY~ 1 Onion (finely chopped)
Make ready 1 Tomato (finely chopped)
Get 3-4 Garlic Cloves
Prepare 1/2 inch Ginger (finely chopped)
Get 3-4 Kashmiri Red Chilli
Get 2 tspn Tamrind pulp
Prepare as per taste Salt
Make ready FOR TEMPERING
Make ready 1 tspn Mustard seeds
Get 10-15 Curry Leaves
Prepare 1 1/2 tspn oil
Steps to make PALAK NEER DOSA | SPINACH NEER DOSA WITH ONION TOMATO CHUTNEY:
Soak the Rice for 4hrs minimum or Overnight. - In a mixer jar put soaked rice, spinach, ginger, green chilies, and salt.
Gradually add 3 cups of water and grind it into a flowy smooth batter. Pour it into a bowl, Check for salt, add if required and keep it aside.
In a pan heat 2 tsp oil. Add onions, saute until translucent. - Add chopped tomatoes, salt garlic, ginger, and Kashmiri Red Chilli. Allow the tomatoes, to cook until mushy. Keep it aside and cool it completely.
Put this in a mixer grinder with tamarind pulp and 2 tbsp water (or as required) Grind to a fine paste.
For tempering, heat 1½ tsp of oil, in that put mustard seeds and curry leaves. Let it splutter and then pour it over the chutney. Mix well.
Now heat a dosa tawa. Brush some oil. Let it heat. Sprinkle a few drops of water and wipe it clean using a bread slice or a clean cloth.
Now pour the batter little by little. It starts looking like a mesh. Cover the holes by pouring the batter in between. Let it cook in low heat. And then flip the side. Cook both sides well.
