  1. remove meat from both sides of breast bone
  2. remove skin and tendons
  3. in large bowl, combine marinade ingredients
  4. add the duck, turning to coat all sides and let it marinade in refrigerator overnight
  5. then melt butter in small sauce pan.
  6. stir in the currant jelly, ketchup, and brown sugar.
  7. heat mixture until jelly melts and mixture boils, but not for long.
  8. grill breasts for 5 min. per side over medium hot coals.
  9. meat should be rare to medium rare.
  10. carve into 1/4" slices, cutting across the grain.
  11. serve with red currant sauce spooned over the duck!
