  1. Turn on oven to 180c
  2. Butter and/or line cake tin
  3. Melt butter
  4. Combine/mix flour, sugar, coconut and melted butter
  5. Press mixture into tin. Press down firmly, getting it even.
  6. Bake base for 15-20 min
  7. While base is cooking, put butter, golden syrup and condensed milk in a saucepan. Bring to boil (but only just) stirring constantly. Stir for about 5min after it just comes to the boil.
  8. Pour caramel over base and put back into oven for another 10min
  9. When slice cold, make topping by melting cocolate with a bit of milk. Pour over cooled caramel.
