Take 500 grams Arbi boiled

Make ready 2 big onions finely chopped
Take 4-5 tomatoes chopped
Prepare 2 green chillies
Take 1/2 inch ginger piece
Get 7-8 garlic cloves
Make ready 2 tbsp fresh cream
Take Pinch asafoetida (hing)
Get 1/2 tsp jeera
Take 2 pinch ajwain
Take 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Make ready 1 tsp red chilli powder
Prepare 1 tsp coriander powder
Take 1/2 tsp garam masala
Instructions to make Arbi Kofta:
First boil the arbi and remove the peel.
Mash arbi add chilli, ginger, besan, maida, corn flour, chilli powder, ajwain, jeera, and 1/2 tsp salt. Mix well to make soft dough.
Then heat oil in the frying pan add small ball (kofta) of the dough and deep fry till it turns golden brown.
In a mixture jar add tomato, green chillies, garlic, ginger and make puree.
Now heat 2 tbsp oil in the pan add pinch of hing, jeera, ajwain and onion. Cook till it turns light brown.
Then add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala and salt as per taste and cook for a minute. Then add tomato puree and cook until oil is released.
Then add cream and cook till oil is released. Now add 2 1/2 glass of water and cook until it boils.
Then add koftas and cook 5 - 7 minutes on high flame until the gravy gets thickened.
Ready to serve arbi kofta with garma garam phulka or paratha.
