Hello everybody, hope you’re having an incredible day today. Today, I will show you a way to make a special dish, samosas. One of my favorites. For mine, I am going to make it a bit unique. This will be really delicious.

Samosas is one of the most popular of current trending foods on earth. It is easy, it’s fast, it tastes yummy. It is enjoyed by millions every day. They’re nice and they look wonderful. Samosas is something which I have loved my whole life.

To get started with this particular recipe, we must first prepare a few ingredients. You can cook samosas using 10 ingredients and 11 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Samosas:
  1. Prepare 250 g boiled green grams
  2. Prepare 1 onion-medium
  3. Make ready oil for frying
  4. Prepare 100 g self raising flour
  5. Get 1 tsp chillie powder
  6. Make ready 1 tbsp salt
  7. Take 1 tsp pounded garlic
  8. Make ready 500 g mashed potatoes
  9. Make ready corriander
  10. Prepare Water
Instructions to make Samosas:
  1. For the dough mix 1/2 tsp of salt and flour.Add 1 tbsp of oil,water gradually and knead for 5 minutes to form a ball
  2. Let it rest then, chopp the onions. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onion till golden brown. add the garlic, salt and chillie powder and cook for 4 minutes. Then add the boiled green grams and continue frying for 5 more minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the mashed potatoes onions, the fried green grams and the chopped corriander. mix evenly.
  4. Then divide the dough into 7 equal sizeable balls.
  5. Roll each ball using a rolling pin into a 5 inch circle. Then cut the circle into half. using a little water brush the edges and fold it into half.
  6. Align the 2 straight edges to overlap forming a cone. squeeze the edges together to form a tight seal
  7. Then place about 1 tbsp of the filling inside each cone leaving the top edge clean. then moisten the top edge with a little water to make another tight seal.
  8. Repeat with the remaining dough and filling
  9. Then heat the oil in a frying pan in medium heat. use a deep saucepan.
  10. Then put the samosa in the pan and fry them. when one side has turned golden brown turn and fry both side.
  11. Drain using paper towels and serve.
